My goal as a PMHNP is to create a supportive, judgment-free environment where patients feel heard and empowered, while helping them achieve lasting improvements in their mental health and overall quality of life. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my two dogs, traveling, reading, and trying new foods.

    I’m a board-certified PMHNP with a passion for delivering thoughtful, patient-centered care through telepsychiatry. I treat a wide range of mental health conditions including depression, anxiety disorders, PTSD, trauma-related conditions, insomnia, and mood disorders. I am intentional and selective with medication management, prioritizing safe, effective use while minimizing unnecessary polypharmacy. On my off time, I enjoy traveling, camping, beach trips, and visiting amusement parks with my husband of 17 years, three grown children, and our Chihuahua.

    She utilizes an eclectic and individualized therapeutic approach with patients ranging in age from 10 to 85, and prioritizes building a strong therapeutic relationship where patients feel comfortable, safe, and empowered throughout their treatment journey.

    Mr. Beverly specializes in providing counseling for individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, and grief. He is currently a PhD student in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Supervision, with an expected graduation year of 2027.

    Mr. Beverly is committed to supporting patients through evidence-based therapeutic approaches and creating a compassionate, supportive space to help individuals navigate emotional challenges and promote personal growth.

    Rebecca is an Outpatient Therapist and Supervisee in Social Work with experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families. She brings nearly a decade of experience supporting individuals impacted by the criminal justice system, social services, disabilities, and housing instability.

    She utilizes a trauma-informed, person-centered approach and incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients navigate life stressors, improve mental health, and build resilience. Rebecca’s mission is to empower individuals and support their journey toward self-actualization and personal growth.

    Courtney specializes in working with children, adolescents, and families who are navigating challenges related to low self-esteem, confidence, trauma-related concerns, life transitions, anxiety, and depressive symptoms. She supports patients by teaching positive coping skills and helping them integrate these skills into their daily lives, with an emphasis on recognizing strengths rather than focusing on weaknesses.

    Courtney incorporates play therapy and creative art interventions to help children and adolescents express their experiences, tell their stories, and process emotions in a developmentally appropriate and engaging way. She also enjoys teaching positive communication skills to children, adolescents, and families to help reduce tension, improve understanding, and strengthen family dynamics within the home.

    Emily Lawson is a mental health professional resident and outpatient therapist. Over the past 23 years, Emily has worked in a variety of community and school-based settings, supporting children, adolescents, and adults. She is deeply committed to helping and advocating for individuals across diverse populations, including those diagnosed with intellectual disabilities and Autism Spectrum Disorder.

    Emily has a particular passion for working with individuals who have experienced trauma. She is dedicated to helping clients understand and overcome the debilitating symptoms that often accompany traumatic experiences, empowering them to build resilience and move toward healing.

    She is a native of Southwest Virginia who earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Virginia’s College at Wise and her master’s degree in counseling and human development from Lindsey Wilson College.
