Licensed Outpatient Therapist

The Licensed Outpatient Therapist (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, etc.) is responsible for direct clinical and therapeutic services, to individuals, family and/or group with emotional, behavioral, and mental health disorders. Services provided are determined by the completion of a psychosocial assessment and an established plan of care that optimizes client outcomes and supports functional improvement. The scope of services may include psychosocial intervention, education, therapy, collaboration with clinical specialist and coordination with community resources as well as coordinated discharge planning. Additionally, the Licensed Outpatient Therapist is expected to participate in strategy planning including opportunities to expand and/or enhances programs and serviced offered.

Requirements: Master's degree in a mental health related field required. Must be licensed as an LCSW, LPC or LMFT and have an active license in the state of Virginia.


Licensed Eligible Outpatient Therapist

The License Eligible Outpatient Therapist (MSW-S, LPC-R, etc.) is responsible for direct clinical and therapeutic services, to individuals, family and/or group with emotional, behavioral, and mental health disorders. Services provided are determined by the completion of a psychosocial assessment and an established plan of care that optimizes client outcomes and supports functional improvement. The scope of services may include psychosocial intervention, education, therapy, collaboration with clinical specialist and coordination with community resources as well as coordinated discharge planning. Additionally, the License Eligible Outpatient Therapist is expected to participate in strategy planning including opportunities to expand and/or enhances programs and serviced offered.

The License Eligible Outpatient Therapist (MSW-S, LPC-R, etc.) is responsible for direct clinical and therapeutic services to groups with emotional, behavioral, and mental health disorders.

Requirements: Master's degree in a mental health related field required. Must be licensed as an LPC-R or MSW-S.


Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) is responsible for providing psychiatric services to individuals served within OTL Community Services within the scope of practice and the collaborative agreement with the supervising psychiatrist. The PMHNP will collaborate with physicians, psychologists, social workers, nurses, or other professionals to discuss treatment plans, recommendations for services and progress. This position will gather and maintain client information and records as well as administer psychotherapeutic treatments, prescribe medications or other modalities to treat mental, emotional, or behavioral disorders through Telehealth services. The populations served include the full range of behavioral, emotional, and mental health disorders for adults as well as adolescents when certified to treat that population. 

Requirements: requirements: Graduate of an accredited graduate nurse practitioner program and certified as a psychiatric NP, currently licensed as a psychiatric nurse practitioner in Virginia, and current DEA prescriptive authority.


Internship

Are you a Masters-level graduate student seeking your advanced or second year Internship or Field Placement this fall? OTL Behavioral Health is welcoming graduate level students who are seeking a degree in social work, mental health counseling, or psychology to apply for our Mental Health Counseling Internship Program. We are committed to the training of students by providing opportunities for meaningful learning experiences.

Interns will provide family therapy, group therapy, marital therapy/ couples counseling, and individual psychotherapy for adults, adolescents, and/or children, in an outpatient group practice setting and/ or online. Applicants must be willing to commit to 20 hours per week on site, regardless of graduate school program requirements and be available for weekly clinical supervision during traditional business hours.

This is an UNPAID hybrid position with the possibility of future employment upon successful completion of our program.

Requirements: Must be enrolled in a graduate level social work, professional counseling, psychology program, other human services related program for the entire duration of the placement, must have completed psychopathology, and possess knowledge of clinical diagnoses and treatment planning, and must be willing to submit to and pass federal, state and child protective background check.
